Adam C. Leeper.
Adam C. Leeper, 48, 318 Iowa street, died at 1:30 a. m. today at his home after an illness of nine days of pneumonia.
He was born in June, 1878, at Dysart, Ia., and when a boy moved to Clarion with his parents. Later they moved to Cedar Rapids, where he lived until 1911. He then came to Waterloo, being employed by the Illinois Central railroad here since that time. He married Miss Nellie Price here two years ago last July. He was a member of Woodmen of the World, camp No. 137.
Surviving are the widow and three children by a former marriage, Earl, Dorothy and Ethel Leeper, all at home, and the following brothers and sisters: D. W. Leeper, Brownsdale, Minn.,; Mrs. Nora Crone, Clarion, Ia.; Mrs. George Williams, Marino, Colo.; Mrs. William Saxbury, Denver, Colo.; William Leeper, Blue Island, Ill., and Willis and Fred Leeper, both of Waterloo.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday in Petersen Bros. chapel, Rev. Warren L. Steeves, pastor of Walnut Street Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview.
