Agnes (Costello) Saxbury 1924-1977
Hannibal Courier Post, October 6, 1977 - Services for Agnes E. Saxbury, 53, of 611 S. Hayden, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Saxbury died Oct. 5 at a local hospital. She was born July 8, 1924 in Hannibal to Paul and Emma Webb Costello.
She was married to John Saxbury in August 1946 in Hannibal and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael Saxbury of St. Charles and Paul Saxbury of Hannibal; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Morris of Hannibal; two brothers, Jack Costello of Quincy, Ill., and William Costello of Florissant; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Gamble of Monroe City, Mrs. Dorothy Irwin of Cincinnatti, Ohio and Mrs. Julia Johnson of Hannibal; six grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Saxbury was a medical secretary at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital and was a veteran of World War II.
