Arthur Saxbury 1901-1918

Funeral services for Arthur Saxbury were held at the family residence on South Hayden St., Hannibal Mo. with the Rev. Fry officiating. Burial was in Shearer Cemetery at New Canton IL.

Mr. Saxbury was the son of Albert and Dora Rodgers Saxbury. He had left home to visit an Aunt Mrs Letha Butts of Englewood Kansas when his parents received word that he had been seriously hurt at Burns Kansas. He was taken to a hospital at Newton Kansas where he died. Heartbroken parents returned home with the remains. Was injured while riding a freight train.
