Lula (Masters) Saxbury 1890-1974

Hannibal Courier-Post, March 2, 1974 - Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Saxbury, 83, of Hull, Ill., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hull Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Dameron in charge. Burial will be at the Kinderhook Cemetery.

Mrs. Saxbury died at 2:30 p.m. Friday at a Hannibal hospital.

She was born March 22, 1890 in Kinderhook to Sam and Ella Maple Masters. She was married to Fred Saxbury, Sept. 3, 1920 and he died in 1951.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Carlen and Louis Saxbury, both of Hull, Ill.; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Clark Funeral Home and continue from 1 p.m. until the time of services Monday at the church.
